Recently travel nursing jobs have gained a lot of prominence due to the increasing shortage of nurses all over the world. Each individual travel nursing job is generally of a short-term, lasting from one to four months. Sometimes, long term contracts are made, which could last from one to two years. However, the term offered at the outset is something like a probationary term, because in most cases, after the stipulated term is over, the medical institution offers an extension or even a permanent contract. For this reason, travel nurses mostly do not need to keep on hopping from one state to another.
